World Class Worcestershire will be promoting the much sought after Worcester Six Business Park and the larger Worcester Growth Corridor development as part of the Midlands Engine delegation to MIPIM 2017.
Two enviably-connected industrial units are now available for investment at the centre of Worcestershire, one of the fastest growing regions in England.
Work on the employment site is set to be complete this summer and forms part of the wider £120 million Worcester Growth Corridor, which provides exceptional business access to one of the most well-connected road transport networks in the UK, including the M5, M6, M42 and M50. On top of this, a further £10m has been invested into strengthening the transport infrastructure surrounding the park.
The park, just off junction 6 of the M5, will provide up to 1.5 million sq ft of accommodation in a range of high quality business units. They have been designed for a variety of employment uses to include technology, manufacturing, industrial and warehousing.
Worcester Six is one of four game changer sites identified in the county’s Strategic Economic Plan (SEP) – key employment sites seen as important in driving the county’s economic future prosperity. The wider £120 million park is set to create around 5,000 jobs once development is complete.
Work on the £10 million infrastructure package for the park is making good progress with the upgrade to Pershore Lane now complete. These works were funded by the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership through the Government’s Growth Deal to improve traffic flow to junction 6 of the M5 motorway as well as provide access to Worcester Six.
Worcester Six offers a perfect combination of strong transport connectivity, purpose-built facilities and a highly skilled and productive workforce. This investment opportunity offers the perfect solution for ambitious and expanding companies that are aspiring to achieve their long-term business goals.
